As a one-time project manager in the industry I would be hard pressed to find a day or at least a job in which I did not use the term dustcap at least a couple of times to communicate needed information for a job. Dustcap is simply too important to not understand what it means. It’s used so often and can have huge implications to the finish length of drapery that to white wash over it with the assumption that everyone knows would be a drastic mistake.

Fullness, simply defined, is the ratio of fabric used to cover a set space. Fullness asks the question, 'if I have 100” of space to cover, do I need 100” of fabric, or 150”, or maybe 200”? What will these changes in the amount of fabric mean for the overall aesthetic? This is the essence of fullness.

Often times customers come to us with a dilemma about ripplefold drapes. They want drapery with a ripplefold style but they don’t want the hardware to show. The unfortunate answer to this dilemma is that you can’t have your cake and eat it to.
