The Canopy Dallas Uptown by Hilton is the first in Texas, and one of the fist Canopy hotels to open in the nation. The Javelin Group worked with Hilton very closely in order to open the 150-room hotel and develop a nontraditional concept that offers more than just nice amenities. The property has a connection to local neighborhoods, inviting guests to be a part of local activities and helping out by providing guests with a welcome gift for their dog and a 24-hour pass to the dog-friendly restaurant across the street. Canopy Dallas also features Upside, a rooftop lounge with amazing views of the Dallas skyline. Quiltcraft partnered with Jaguar Hospitality to provide window treatments, booth/banquettes and other details throughout the hotel’s guestrooms and public areas. Don’t just believe us when we say that the guestrooms are designed to give a ‘cozy’ welcome to each guest, see it for yourself in the pictures below!
Hems & Weights may not be seen as very big deal in the spec writing process for window treatments but it is a detail that drapery project managers will always notice and therefore should be something that you are well informed about. We’ve created a resource card that explains how each of these hems are made and so in this place I will not be rehashing that same information. Download it here and keep it at your desk for easy access.
